SG Woman Seeks Help to Locate 6-Year-Old Son Allegedly Kidnapped by Ex-Husband and Taken to Malaysia
A Singaporean woman is desperately searching for her 6-year-old son, who was allegedly kidnapped by his father and taken to Malaysia in May 2024.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, Day Limonte shared her ongoing efforts to locate her son, Caleb, and appealed to the public for assistance.
“It’s been a long time since I last posted here, and I wish this was about something happy. But I’m here asking for help,” she wrote. “Earlier this year, my son, Caleb, was abducted by his father and taken to Malaysia. He has now been missing, without contact, for over 175 days. I’m trying to raise awareness of his abduction, hoping the right people can help find and bring him back home.”
A dedicated website, Help Find Caleb, has also been set up to gather leads from the public.
According to the website, Caleb’s parents divorced in 2021, with Daylin (Day) granted legal custody for the past three years. In May 2024, during a scheduled parental visit, Caleb’s father, Luqman (also known as Luke Liang), failed to return him and allegedly abducted him to Malaysia via Johor Bahru.
“Caleb was taken without his mother’s knowledge or permission, in violation of Singapore court orders. Heartbreakingly, over the past six months, Luqman has remained uncontactable, denying Daylin any access to her son. Despite exhausting all possible legal avenues in Singapore and Malaysia, Caleb’s exact location remains unknown,” the website stated.
Daylin continues to plead for help, hoping to reunite with her son soon.
