The esteemed Chinese tea brand, HeyTea, has officially inaugurated its presence at TRX The Exchange Mall in Kuala Lumpur.

Making its debut on December 1, 2023, this launch closely followed the grand opening of the upscale mall, which recently gained attention for its steep parking fees and a power outage on its first day.

Despite these initial challenges, the mall managed to draw substantial crowds, with HeyTea's opening emerging as a notable highlight.

On its opening day, HeyTea introduced an enticing 'Buy 1, Get 1 Free' promotion, sparking an extraordinary response from the Malaysian public.

Known for their patience and keen interest in favorable deals, Malaysians formed an extensive queue for HeyTea, extending along the fronts of 7-8 stores.

One individual who patiently stood in line shared her firsthand experience, providing a personal insight into the magnetic appeal of HeyTea.

"When I arrived around 10 am, there were already approximately 100 people ahead of me," she disclosed.

Despite the considerable length of the queue weaving through several stores, her spirits remained undeterred. "It's quite a sight, seeing so many people line up for tea. But it's HeyTea, after all."

She spent almost an hour and a half in line before being able to place her order. "I managed to order at 11:30 am and received my drinks by 11:45 am," she mentioned, a touch of triumph evident in her voice.

When asked about her motivation for enduring the queue, she smiled and shared, "My daughter is expecting her child any day now, and she's been craving the drinks from HeyTea. My husband wanted to cheer her up with her favorite drink."
