Malaysian Spends RM1.8K on Michelin Guide Restaurant Celebration for Wife's Birthday
Recently, Malaysian singer Choo Hao Ren celebrated his wife Gladish's birthday and shared the experience in a 23-minute video on his YouTube channel. This time, for Gladish's birthday, he treated her to a Michelin-starred restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. Despite the steep price of the birthday meal, the couple thoroughly enjoyed their Indian cuisine experience.
The birthday celebration came with a price tag of around RM1,800. In the video's introduction, Hao Ren mentioned that it has become an annual tradition for them to celebrate Gladish's birthday at fine dining establishments, places they don't frequent regularly. For the meal, Hao Ren ordered a set with two meals, costing RM1,380, and added two glasses of red wine and a bottle of Evian sparkling water, bringing the total to RM1830.50.
"I don't regret it," Hao Ren remarked.
This sentiment was because the food was exceptionally delightful. Gladish also personally attested to the amazing taste of the food, and Hao Ren expressed how he hesitated to swallow a prawn he was chewing, as his taste buds were being "pampered" by the flavorful seafood.
"It's so good that I wanna cry," he exclaimed.
When you find yourself reluctant to swallow because the food is that good, and the satisfaction of a delicious birthday meal is undeniable. The full YouTube video is available for viewing below.
