Sam, an automotive worker from Malaysia, recently showcased his modified Perodua Kancil on his TikTok page @samthumpret. In the video, he unveiled a significant alteration to the car that set it apart from the rest – butterfly-winged doors.

In essence, butterfly doors are a type of car door that swings upwards and outwards via hinges along the A-pillar, situated towards the front of the vehicle. Through the clip, Sam demonstrated how the car operated with its new doors, showcasing their upward and outward motion when opened.

Featuring visuals of the car from different angles, the Kancil looked undeniably stylish, effortlessly gliding as each door opened and closed.

Sam disclosed that he has been immersed in the car industry for approximately 24 years, harboring a profound passion for anything related to cars. This passion fueled his creativity to modify nearly any vehicle that crosses his path.

"The primary idea behind upgrading my car sparked these concepts. Eventually, I integrated it into my career, providing people with fresh looks for their rides," Sam explained.

Gaining significant attention online, many users compared the Kancil's new doors to those of a Lamborghini, praising the car's stylish transformation.

"A Kancil like no other!" jestingly commented one user.

However, some users raised concerns about potential difficulties in parking in narrow spaces due to the modification. Nonetheless, another user humorously inquired whether Sam could replicate the feature for motorcycles.
