China man discovers after spending RM1.09 million on a used Lamborghini that it has had 15 previous owners.
An individual in China recently rewarded himself after years of hard labor by purchasing his dream automobile, a Lamborghini, for RMB 1.7 million (about RM1.09 million). He could have saved himself the heartache he is currently going through if only he had looked into the car's history before paying that much money.
The man discovered that the Lamborghini had undergone fifteen ownership changes while he was recently arranging the insurance for the vehicle!
Depending on the model you choose, a Lamborghini might cost anywhere from RM1 million to RM2.27 million in Malaysia, according to Zig Wheels.
A Weibo post claims that the man was completely distraught to learn about the whereabouts of his vehicle. When he inquired again about the status of the vehicle from the dealer, he was informed that there had only been four ownership transfers for the Lamborghini.
Well, the difference between 4 and 15 is enormous!
The man returned to the auto dealer after feeling duped and demanded payment of RMB 100,000 (about RM64,000). Sadly, things did not turn out as he had hoped, and the vehicle salesman gave an explanation for his refusal to grant the man's request.
"We have never promised the customer any guarantees regarding the number of prior ownerships.”
"Sir, congratulations on becoming your Lamborghini's fifteenth owner."
"Well, I'm not even able to afford a play car."
"With two hands, you can't even count the number of ownerships."
