Workshop Employee from Puncak Alam Reportedly Takes Customer's Honda Accord on Joyride, Causing Collision with Six Cars
A video recently surfaced on social media, depicting the aftermath of a car collision in a parking lot located in Puncak Alam, Selangor.
In the video, a black Honda Accord is shown to have inflicted significant damage to multiple vehicles parked within a shop lot's parking area after colliding with them. Several individuals can be observed inspecting the damaged cars as the person recording captures the scene.
According to the individual recording the video, the crash involved the Honda Accord colliding with up to six cars, causing substantial damage to all of them. Additionally, he mentions that the incident caused considerable inconvenience to those present at the scene.
The video was shared online by a user with the handle @druglordfxdl on X (formerly known as Twitter), accompanied by the caption: "Is it the current trend to test a customer’s car until getting into an accident? Hopefully, the owner’s affairs can be simplified 🤲"
Furthermore, the user claims that the incident occurred near the 3rd entrance of UiTM Puncak Alam, although the exact date of the incident remains undisclosed.
Based on the caption provided, it is speculated that a workshop employee took the customer's Honda Accord for a joyride to 'test' its performance, leading to the collision with other parked vehicles in the vicinity.
The identity of the individual responsible for driving the Honda Accord remains unclear. Nevertheless, if found accountable for the crash, it is likely that they will be required to cover the expenses for repairing all damaged vehicles, including the Honda Accord itself.
Malaysian netizens have criticized the alleged irresponsible actions of the workshop employee. Many commenters expressed disdain for the individual's decision to joyride in a customer's vehicle, suggesting that such tests should have been conducted on empty roads instead.
Moreover, some suggested that the workshop should compensate the customer with a new car, as the damaged Honda Accord may no longer perform or feel the same. Additionally, one commenter claimed to recognize the location of the incident as being at Bandar Hillpark.
