Viral KL Burger Vendor Discloses How Much IShowSpeed Paid for His Burger – And It’s Not in USD or MYR
American gaming content creator and YouTuber IShowSpeed recently made a stop at a burger stall in KL during his visit to Malaysia. He enjoyed the burger so much that he paid extra for it, but the exact amount remained a mystery—until now.
In a viral TikTok post by @syokgeng, the burger vendor shared that IShowSpeed didn’t pay in USD, as some might assume. Surprisingly, he didn’t pay in Malaysian Ringgit either.
“He actually paid me in Cambodian money (Riel),” the vendor revealed in an interview.
So, how much did IShowSpeed give him?
According to the vendor, he received seven banknotes from the YouTuber, each valued at 50,000 KHR. In total, that’s 350,000 KHR, which equals roughly RM362.
While it’s less than what it would have been in USD, the vendor still made a good profit that night, all from one special beef Ramly burger.
Reflecting on Speed’s visit, the vendor admitted he was surprised and joked that his burgers are still priced in Malaysian Ringgit, not other currencies.
As a fun gesture, the interviewer gifted the vendor a printed banner featuring a photo of Speed at his stall, which he could display to attract more customers and boost his business profile.
