Viral Footage Captures Husband Finding Wife, Allegedly a Politician, with a Monk in Bed

A recent video clip, circulated by the Facebook page "I Sor Khayi Kkhao," has gained widespread attention, depicting a husband's return to his rural home in Sukhothai, Thailand. In the footage, a 64-year-old man is seen outside his bedroom, discovering a saffron robe commonly worn by Buddhist monks. As he enters the room, he encounters his wife unclothed with an individual concealed under the blanket beside her. Upon lifting the blanket, he exposes a monk sharing the bed with his wife. The husband, visibly upset, confronts them with the question, "Are you two very happy?" while his wife protests, "Stop, stop, you have no right."

Reportedly, the husband harbored suspicions of his wife's infidelity and returned home from Bangkok unannounced. Subsequently, he terminated his relationship with the female politician, who is identified as a business tycoon. The monk, aged 24, has renounced his monkhood and is currently in seclusion.

In a televised account of the incident, the affluent property developer recounted his journey of over five hours from Bangkok and his growing suspicion upon failing to reach his wife by phone. The husband expressed feelings of betrayal upon discovering the situation, despite having brought her gifts.

The monk, in response to the controversy, maintained that no impropriety occurred, asserting that they merely conversed due to personal troubles before showering.

Investigations into the matter are ongoing, with the Democrat party forming a committee under the leadership of Chalermchai Sri-on to probe the 45-year-old politician involved. Although the politician's identity remains undisclosed officially, widespread recognition exists. The committee aims to conclude its inquiry within three days, with potential expulsion from the party looming should evidence confirm the alleged affair between the politician and her adopted son, the monk. The party spokesperson emphasized that such conduct would contravene the party's ethical standards, warranting expulsion if substantiated.
