VIDEO: Overseas Visitor Tears Up with Joy at Christmas Decorations in Malaysian Mall
Our shopping malls spare no effort in adorning themselves for various festive seasons, and it appears that the awe isn't limited to locals but extends to visitors from abroad as well.
Recently, an American couple took to TikTok to express their wonder at experiencing Christmas in Malaysia.
As a predominantly Muslim country, similar to their predecessors, the foreign couple were pleasantly surprised when they first witnessed the Christmas celebrations at Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur, evoking tears of joy.
In the video, they shared their sentiments, saying, “This is so nice, isn’t it? Are you crying? It just looks so pretty. This makes you feel Christmas-sy, doesn’t it?”
With Christmas carols playing in the background and a festive merry-go-round, the couple noted that nearly every mall they visited went all out for Christmas.
Exploring popular shopping destinations, including Genting Highlands, it becomes evident how Malaysians enthusiastically embrace any holiday that offers an opportunity for extended weekends at home or travel across the country.
