Thrilled Malaysian Sings and Dances Solo at Ed Sheeran's Kuala Lumpur Concert Despite Muted Audience
In her TikTok post @adlynjayne96, concert attendee Adlyn shared a brief video of herself thoroughly enjoying Ed Sheeran's concert in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday night (February 24). Despite her infectious enthusiasm, it didn't seem to spark the same level of energy in the surrounding crowd.
From Adlyn's perspective, it appeared as though she was the sole individual excited about the performance.
"POV: You're the only one dancing at the Ed Sheeran concert in KL."
As a paying attendee, Adlyn certainly had every right to revel in the show's experience, provided she adhered to the event's regulations. It's heartening to know that Adlyn had a memorable time during the concert.
Adlyn mentioned that she attended the event solo and was seated in the Cat 6 section. Despite the subdued atmosphere among her fellow concertgoers, she still found joy in the performance.
"The people in my section were pretty laid-back, but honestly, I still had a blast!"
She added,
"Everyone told me that those in Cat 5 were really getting into it!"
Ed Sheeran had to actively engage the audience
to the point where the English singer had to encourage the crowd to stand up.
"Most people didn't stand. Initially, when I stood up, security asked me to take my seat. So, perhaps everyone assumed standing wasn't allowed."
Although she remained seated for most of the show, Adlyn decided to stand and fully immerse herself in the livelier moments, particularly when her favorite songs were performed.
"The finale with 'Shape of You' and 'Bad Habits' prompted me to stand, and Ed actually encouraged us to do so too. Towards the end of the show, I did notice more people standing as well."
