A Malaysian single father, coping with the loss of his wife, recognized the need for a female presence in his and his son's life. Taking to Facebook, he endeavored to find a stepmother for his son by posting an advertisement detailing his son's qualities to attract potential candidates.

In the advertisement, he described his 8-year-old son as lively, indulged, and sociable, expressing his desire for someone to fulfill the role of a mother figure for his child.

The widower and his son had tragically lost their wife and mother in an accident when the boy was merely 5 years old. After three years, the father felt it was time for his son to experience maternal love once again.

He stated, "It's been 3 years, and it's time for my son to have a mother to share her love. I hope there is someone willing."

Furthermore, he emphasized that he would not dictate the characteristics of the potential stepmother, as long as she genuinely embraced his son and himself.
