7-Year-Old Malaysian Breaks Down in Tears Over $11K Debt in Monopoly Game After Landing on Dad’s Properties
Monopoly can become quite competitive once you get the hang of it. It's a game that involves luck, strategy, and people skills, but no strategy can guarantee a win.
In a recent video shared by @nuraisyahabuhusin, she and her family are seen enjoying quality time together while bonding over a game of Monopoly.
“Life is tough but you must be tougher.”
In the video, a young girl is seen crying after having to pay a total of $11,000 in Monopoly money for landing on her dad’s properties.
For those unfamiliar with the game, Monopoly requires players to pay a fee when they land on someone else’s property. If you lose all your money, you're out of the game.
The caption of the post reads:
“This game can drive anyone crazy. Esabelle cried because she had to pay $11,000 for landing on her dad’s hotels.”
“Business is business.”
Nuraisyah shared that her 7-year-old daughter’s favorite game is Monopoly.
She explained that Esabelle’s love for the game usually makes her good at it, but this time, she ran out of luck and ended up losing.
“Usually, she wins, but this time she kept landing on her dad’s hotel properties, resulting in $11,000 of Monopoly debt.”
Nuraisyah mentioned that she tried helping Esabelle by offering her some of her own Monopoly money, but Esabelle refused because she didn’t want to cheat.
