PDRM Finds Body of Missing 14-Year-Old Autistic Malaysian Boy in Muar River After Two-Day Search
Police made a tragic discovery in the Muar River, Johor, after receiving reports from the public about an unidentified object floating in the water.
According to a statement from the Muar District Police, the boy, a registered person with disabilities, had been missing for two days. He was last seen at home around 11:30 PM on Saturday, November 2.
The boy’s father, who also holds a disability card, reported his 14-year-old son missing, noting that he has hyperactive autism. The father explained that his son often left home without notice and did not return that night.
On Monday, November 4, at approximately 7:30 AM, police received reports of a “floating object” spotted near the Marina Bay jetty. Upon recovery, authorities confirmed that the body’s appearance and clothing matched the description provided by the father.
The case is currently classified as a sudden death report, and the boy’s remains have been sent for a post-mortem examination.
