PDRM Arrests Two Viral Malaysian Men After Fist Fight at Penang Convenience Store

Two Malaysians, who went viral for their physical brawl at a convenience store, have been apprehended by PDRM in Penang. In a statement today (June 7), Seberang Perai Tengah district chief police, Assistant Commissioner Helmi Aris, confirmed that both suspects were detained last night (June 6).
What triggered the fight?
Helmi explained that the store owner was approached by two men, one of whom asked for a bottle of alcohol. A misunderstanding ensued, escalating into a physical altercation, during which one of the suspects was struck on the back of his head with a helmet.
One suspect sustained minor facial injuries while the other remained unhurt. The incident occurred around 11:50 PM on June 3.
"The case is being investigated under Section 324 and Section 323 of the Penal Code, as well as Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955," Helmi added.
Section 324 addresses the punishment for voluntarily causing hurt using dangerous means, while Section 323 pertains to voluntarily causing hurt, and Section 14 refers to disorderly conduct in public places.
