Monthly Sales of RM600K – Malaysian Urges LHDN to Investigate Ex-Husband's Cash-Only Wagyu Pizza Business
Malaysian entrepreneur and social media influencer Cik Epal recently appealed to the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) to investigate her ex-husband, Jofliam, who operates a cash-only pizza business.
In a series of Instagram stories on November 8, @cikepal06 (Cik Epal) alleged that Jofliam’s Wagyu pizza business exclusively accepts cash payments, with no digital transactions. She claimed that her ex-husband sells about 500 pizzas per day, each priced around RM150, potentially earning up to RM75,000 daily and RM600,000 monthly, despite only operating on weekends.
Cik Epal said she chose to expose Jofliam’s business practices due to alleged harassment from him toward her family.
“LHDN, please look into his 100% cash-only pizza business. My ex-husband will be making pizzas this weekend; you can see how long the queue is,” she urged in her story.
She also disclosed the daily wages of the restaurant’s employees, noting amounts between RM600 and RM1,500 per day—figures comparable to some monthly salaries—suggesting this as a reason for their loyalty to Jofliam.
The couple divorced in October, and Cik Epal mentioned that she had previously advised Jofliam to manage his pizza business taxes, but he dismissed her concerns.
“He told me to stay out of his business. Now that we’re divorced, I won’t stay silent any longer.”
