Malaysian Social Media Users Selling Nudes Online for Only RM12
Reports indicate that certain social media platforms are becoming prominent hubs for communities involved in marketing explicit content, such as nude photographs and sex videos.
According to Kosmo!, some women are selling photos of their private parts for as little as RM12 on X. Additionally, a user with over 100,000 followers charges "fans" RM100 to reply to their messages.
These account owners typically do not show their faces in the images they upload, often covering their faces and displaying only their bodies.
The New Straits Times reported that "Made in Malaysia" pornography is being sold on social media.
Just last month, a social media account owner known as "Miza Ozawa" was sentenced to two months in jail for offering prostitution services on Telegram.
