Malaysian Man Surprises 12-Year Employees with New Home, Car, and Generous Raya Bonus
In a touching demonstration of gratitude and generosity, Malaysian entrepreneur Sunny Seow has once again captured public attention by gifting his two Malay employees with two months' worth of bonuses and an extended Raya holiday. This compassionate act, alongside his previous viral deed of rescuing a Mak Cik Nasi Lemak’s stall from closure through covering her overdue rent, has garnered widespread praise and admiration from the Malaysian community.
Recognizing the dedication of his long-serving employees, Seow took to Facebook to share his appreciation for the 12-year journey shared with the two brothers. Reflecting on their humble beginnings and their growth within his business, Seow emphasized the transformation they've undergone under his mentorship.
The value of loyalty is paramount to Seow, who noted that when the brothers joined his team at just 16 years old, they started with a modest monthly salary of RM900. Today, their earnings have grown significantly to RM5,000 per month. However, Seow's investment in their well-being extends far beyond financial compensation, as he has provided them with housing and transportation, markedly enhancing their overall quality of life.
"I provided them with a house and a car," Seow stated. "Now, one of them has a family with two kids. I've truly turned their lives around, lifting them out of poverty."
Expressing gratitude for their unwavering loyalty over the years, Seow acknowledged that while their earnings may not be substantial, their perseverance is commendable. He wished them the best of luck for the future, acknowledging their resilience and dedication to making ends meet despite challenges.
