Malaysian Man Reportedly Leaves Hair Salon After Receiving RM890 Bill
Taking time for self-care, including a rejuvenating haircut, is essential for everyone. Unfortunately, for one individual, his grooming session turned unexpectedly costly, leading him to allegedly flee after being presented with a RM890 bill.
A Facebook post by Eddy Teller recounted the incident, revealing how a customer purportedly left a hair salon at Pavilion, Bukit Bintang, without settling a bill totaling RM890 for haircut services. Eddy claimed that the young man allegedly scammed his niece on November 13.
The detailed receipt shared by Eddy indicated that the customer spent RM280 on hair dyeing, RM280 for a relaxing treatment, RM130 for the haircut, and RM200 for a step 1 treatment.
A police report has been filed at Dang Wangi Police Station regarding the incident. Eddy urged those familiar with the man to encourage him to return to the salon, settle his dues, and issue an apology video. Additionally, Eddy shared personal details, including photos, the customer's name, workplace, and even tracked down the motorcycle's number plate, revealing outstanding debts.
The Facebook post, later reshared by a user named @noone, sparked shocked reactions from netizens. Many expressed disbelief at a haircut costing RM890, with comments questioning the expense and suggesting more affordable alternatives.
