Malaysian Man Expresses Frustration as He Drives 7km to Rectify Incorrect Food Order: 'I Drove My Mercedes All The Way Here!'
Nobody enjoys receiving incorrect orders, but it's essential to handle such situations with respect. Recently, a man faced criticism when a video surfaced of him verbally abusing restaurant staff over a mistaken food order, going so far as to demand reimbursement for his petrol and toll expenses.
In the one-minute video shared on X by Abudi Alsagoff, the man can be seen aggressively approaching a restaurant that had erred in fulfilling his Grab Food order. Upon locating the establishment, he confronted the staff and insisted they call their absent manager.
Expressing frustration, he complained about driving 7km to rectify the order and angrily questioned the staff about his intended meal, revealing that he had ordered Nasi Kunyit with Curry Chicken but received Hainan Chicken Rice instead.
Despite the staff's efforts to correct the mistake, the man continued berating them, even demanding compensation for his petrol and Touch 'n Go expenses. In a moment of apparent pettiness, he felt the need to inform the staff that he had driven his Mercedes to the restaurant.
"I drove my Mercedes here; I used my Touch 'n Go and petrol to change my food, right? No, I want to see your manager!"
The video concluded with the revelation that the man did not get to meet the manager but was compensated RM20 for the incorrect food order.
The man's behavior drew widespread criticism from netizens, who condemned his arrogant and snobbish attitude, with one remarking, "Your attitude stinks, bro."
