Malaysian Eatery Incorporates Milo into Nasi Lemak as Per Customer's Wish, Receives Positive Feedback
For those employed in the restaurant industry, there inevitably comes a time when they encounter peculiar or outright outrageous requests from customers. Recently, one such restaurant worker took to TikTok to express her astonishment at a customer's unusual request to add Milo powder to his nasi lemak with chicken curry.
In a 1-minute TikTok video shared by @shaheeraazhar, which has garnered over 3 million views, she visibly expresses confusion and disbelief regarding an order she received through the Grab app.
According to the order, the customer requested an iced Milo and nasi lemak with chicken curry, specifically asking for it to be accompanied by Milo powder. The customer included a lengthy message, stating:
"Hey, today’s my birthday, but I’m super sad as no one remembered or bothered to celebrate with me. I’m crazy about Milo powder, so please help to add on lots of it. Keep adding on until I lose my sanity seeing it."
After confirming that she correctly understood the customer's request, @shaheeraazhar proceeded to sprinkle four spoons of Milo powder onto the nasi lemak, completely covering the dish.
In a subsequent TikTok clip, @shaheeraazhar shared screenshots of her conversation with the customer on WhatsApp, where she sought confirmation to ensure she wasn't being pranked. Much to her surprise, the customer verified that he genuinely wanted his food drowned in Milo powder and expressed gratitude for accommodating his request.
He even sent a photo of himself thoroughly enjoying his Milo-coated nasi lemak, proclaiming that he absolutely loved it.
