Malaysia Airlines Launches Premium Private Terminal Transfer Service Featuring BMW i7s at KLIA
Malaysia Airlines has announced the launch of an exclusive private terminal transfer service designed for selected passengers seeking premium comfort while moving between the Main Terminal Building and the Satellite Building of KLIA Terminal 1. This service is in partnership with BMW Group Malaysia via their dealer partner, Ingress Auto Sdn. Bhd.
As detailed in a press release on Malaysia Airlines’ website, Enrich Platinum, Business Suite, and Business Class passengers flying with Malaysia Airlines will have the opportunity to indulge in elevated luxury, being chauffeured in the sleek all-electric BMW i7, starting February 1.
This 24-hour service is a temporary solution implemented due to the suspension of the aerotrain facility. Initially, a fleet of BMW i7 vehicles will be stationed at Gate G1 of the Main Terminal Building to cater to departing passengers. Additional units will be deployed to serve arriving passengers once the arrival lounge at the Satellite Building is completed.
Passengers eligible for this premium service, including Enrich Platinum, Business Suite, and Business Class, can expect personalized experiences and exclusive rides tailored to their needs. Each vehicle is allocated for solo travelers, couples, and families, accommodating up to 4 passengers per car.
Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi, Chief Executive Officer of Airlines from Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), emphasized the airline's commitment to enhancing the travel experience for its top-tier customers and ensuring a premium journey amidst the temporary suspension of the aerotrain facility. This initiative also reflects the airline's dedication to sustainable practices with the utilization of the all-electric BMW i7 series.
