M'sian Actress Reacts to Alleged Viral 'Khalwat' Incident: 'I Invited Him for Dinner with My Siblings
"We had plans for dinner with my family," Ruhainies shared on her Instagram post @ruhainies7, recounting the events of that evening. She had arranged to dine with her siblings, coinciding with Aliff completing his shoot for the night. Seizing the opportunity, Ruhainies extended an invitation to Aliff to join them for dinner.
"We've been close friends for a decade, and he's familiar with my siblings. A few other friends were also expected to join."
However, Ruhainies received a message from one of her siblings, Risteena, informing her about the delay caused by traffic.
"So, Aliff and I decided to head up first and chat while awaiting my siblings."
While engaged in conversation, a knock on the door interrupted them. Assuming it was her siblings, Ruhainies hesitated upon hearing a male voice outside, concerned for her safety. Quickly, she dialed her sister and requested her presence to verify the visitors' identities.
"She informed me it was JAWI and the police."
Though her siblings clarified the dinner plans to the authorities, they were still required to undergo investigation procedures.
"I don't want Aliff and Bella to part ways."
Both Ruhainies and Aliff asserted that the encounter in the condominium was merely a conversation. Nevertheless, they cooperated fully with the authorities.
Ruhainies, who shares a close friendship with Aliff's wife, Bella Astillah, expressed her desire to preserve their relationship.
"I value my friendship with Bella and wish to avoid any rift between her and Aliff. I'm ready to discuss this with her whenever she feels prepared."
Ruhainies also clarified the delay in her statement, citing her busy shooting schedule and the need for a clear mind to convey her message.
