Landslide in Puchong Causes Riverbank Collapse, Flooding Construction Site
The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department confirmed that a landslide occurred in the Idaman BSP area of Taman Mas, Puchong, yesterday (September 7) at approximately 4:14 pm.
A viral video and an official statement from the department show the landslide causing the riverbank to collapse, submerging a construction site.
The affected construction site is part of a water treatment plant project.
No injuries or fatalities have been reported.
The project management stated that an investigation will be conducted to determine the cause of the collapse, and further actions will be taken accordingly.
