Malaysian celebrity chef Khairul Aming is admired not only for his generosity and kindness but also for the journey he's taken to achieve his current fame and success.

When a netizen asked how much he spent on taking his staff on vacation, the amount was likely higher than expected — exceeding RM1 million!

During a recent TikTok live, Khairul broke down the costs involved. There are two main expenses. The first includes vacation-related costs like accommodation, meals, and pocket money for each employee, totaling between RM200,000 to RM300,000.

The second, more significant expense is the production loss. Since his factory remains closed while his staff are away, the loss can reach up to RM750,000!

Despite the high costs, Khairul has no regrets. He views the expense as a well-deserved gesture of appreciation for his employees.

“While the figures may seem large, they reflect the annual investment I’ve committed to showing gratitude to my staff,” he said.
