"It Paid Off!" – Calum Scott Reflects on His Journey Scaling to the Summit of Batu Caves
Just this past Saturday, on February 24th, Ed Sheeran made his way to Malaysia, captivating local fans who had eagerly awaited his return for nearly five years since his last performance in Kuala Lumpur back in 2019. Joining him was UK singer-songwriter Calum Scott, who graced Malaysia with his presence as the opening act for Sheeran's concert at Bukit Jalil National Stadium.
During his time in Malaysia, Scott took the opportunity to explore Kuala Lumpur, sharing his enriching journey on his TikTok page @calumscottofficial. In a heartfelt video, Scott documented his experience climbing Batu Caves.
Beginning at the temple's base, Scott showcased his surroundings before embarking on the ascent. Along the way, he captured glimpses of the breathtaking views and encountered some playful monkeys.
"We made it!" exclaimed Scott upon reaching what appeared to be the summit of the stairs. However, his journey didn't end there, as he soon realized there were more stairs inside the cave temples.
In response to a comment from a TikTok user remarking on his likely exhaustion from the climb, Scott expressed that the experience was entirely worth it to witness the beauty of Batu Caves.
In addition to the positive feedback, numerous fans wished Scott well on his Malaysian adventure and suggested other captivating places to visit. Amidst the exchange, several users expressed gratitude for Scott's performance as Sheeran's opening act, with one Malaysian user thanking him for the unforgettable performance at Bukit Jalil.
