"I Identify as an Introvert" - Malaysian Entrepreneur Secures Every Cinema Hall Seat for a Tranquil Movie Experience
A local entrepreneur and founder of a cosmetic brand recently grabbed Malaysians' attention by sharing her unconventional approach to enjoying a cinema experience as an introvert.
Taking to her TikTok account, Eriyca Baiduri Abd Rashid, known affectionately as Madammu, posted a video showcasing her unique solution to achieving a tranquil movie outing—buying all the seats in the cinema hall.
In the 23-second clip, the camera pans from left to right inside an undisclosed cinema hall, revealing it to be completely empty. Madammu is then shown seated at the top center, relishing her movie time with a bag of popcorn.
In the video's caption, she humorously declares, "I'm an introvert! So I bought all the seats lah."
The comments section of the video is filled with Malaysians leaving amusing remarks and playful teasing. One commenter questions whether Madammu truly understands the meaning of the word 'introvert,' while another suggests she could have opted for gold class or platinum tickets.
A sarcastic comment highlights the commenter's supposed introverted behavior of renting out the entire mall to watch a movie. On the other hand, someone points out that Madammu's 'solution' addresses a non-existent problem, as movie-watching typically doesn't involve much socializing.
