"He Has No Savings" – Malaysian Woman Shares Her Experience Dating a 30-Year-Old Mat Rempit Who Constantly Parties
Dating is no trivial matter—it's a step toward choosing a life partner who could eventually be a parental role model for future children. But what happens when your partner isn’t serious about his direction in life, even when it’s time for him to step up?
A Malaysian PhD student recently opened up on social media about her concerns with her boyfriend, who she now wonders might not be the right choice for her.
A 30-year-old Rempit who still prioritizes partying
She admitted that, despite her academic achievements, she feels she’s made poor decisions in her love life.
“When it comes to love, I’m just not wise. My boyfriend is still a rempit and loves to party,” she confessed.
And the issues go beyond just lifestyle choices—her partner, now 30, has no savings.
“I’ve asked him to start saving for our future marriage, but the problem is, he has no savings.”
The struggles don’t end there; she finds herself pleading for even the smallest signs of commitment.
“I had to beg for his time. He gets tired after just 10 minutes with me, but he’ll spend hours with his friends,” she shared.
Now, she feels trapped and uncertain about how to handle the relationship, unsure of what her next step should be.
