Compassionate Police Officer Assists Stranded Elderly Gentleman on Busy PJ Highway Due to Flat Tire
A member of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) recently shared body cam footage showing his assistance to a Grabcar driver who encountered a flat tire on a busy road in Petaling Jaya.
In the video, the officer approaches the vehicle and discovers that the driver, an elderly man, is struggling to address the issue.
"Uncle, what seems to be the problem?" the policeman asks. The driver then demonstrates that he has a flat tire.
"It's unsafe for you to remain here. Our priority is to move your vehicle to a safer location," the officer advises.
"I'll assist you in moving your vehicle to the left side of the road."
After safely relocating the vehicle, the officer and his partner proceed to help the driver change the tire.
Despite the inconvenience of having a passenger in the car, the tire-changing process proceeds smoothly.
The officer then takes the opportunity to remind the driver about the importance of safety, particularly in such situations.
The video was later reposted by PDRM on its official Facebook page, providing additional details about the incident. It occurred in Petaling Jaya, with the officer identified as a member of the Mobile Patrol Vehicle Unit within the Petaling Jaya District Police's Crime Prevention And Community Safety Department.
