BMW Driver Irritated After Parking and Blocking Seri Petaling Alley, Reacts Negatively to Honks Requesting Car Removal
One thing Malaysians are unapologetically known for is parking wherever they please. Typically, if you're not obstructing anyone or anything, you're usually left undisturbed. However, a recent incident defies this norm.
A video shared on the Aurizn Facebook page showcased a BMW driver who chose to park right at the entrance of an alley in Seri Petaling, completely blocking the path for others. Since the driver neglected to leave contact information, someone (dubbed 'camera car guy') resorted to honking to get the BMW driver's attention and, needless to say, the response was less than favorable.
The BMW driver (nicknamed 'Mr Tattoo Botak Ponytail Gucci guy') shifted blame onto the person honking for the predicament. Aurizn sarcastically commented, suggesting that the camera car was at fault for bothering Mr Tattoo Ponytail during lunch. According to the satire, the camera car should have offered tea, an angpow, knelt down, and expressed gratitude to Mr Botak Ponytail Tattoo Gucci for graciously moving his car.
The dashcam footage captured Camera Car Guy leaving his (illegal) parking spot within the alley only to find Mr Tattoo Ponytail's BMW blocking the entrance (or exit) to the alley. A prolonged honking session ensued before Mr Tattoo Ponytail, visibly irritated, emerged.
An argument ensued between Mr Tattoo Ponytail and Camera Car Guy about who was at fault. Mr Tattoo Ponytail insisted that Camera Car Guy shouldn't have parked inside the alley and should have honked more quietly. Camera Car Guy countered, highlighting that Mr Tattoo Ponytail was at fault for blocking the way without leaving contact information.
After some back-and-forth, Mr Tattoo Ponytail eventually moved his car (after a meticulous tire check), and Camera Car Guy continued on his way. Aurizn humorously concluded, "What we can learn from this incident is that we need to learn how to adjust our car horn’s volume."
Ironically, there was also a multi-tier carpark right there.
