Malaysia's talented women's doubles pair, Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan (currently ranked 12th in the world, up from 13th), unfortunately lost the bronze medal match at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
In a tense match against Japan's Nami Matsuyama and Shida Chiharu (ranked 4th in the world), they were defeated in both sets with scores of 11-21 and 11-21.
Despite the loss, we are incredibly proud of their efforts and commend their determination to compete for a medal for Malaysia!
