Passenger Criticized for Showing up 10 Minutes Before Departure at KLIA2 and Berating Staff for Gate Closure
A circulating online video captures a passenger berating ground staff for not reopening the boarding gate, even though he arrived just 10 minutes before his scheduled flight to Beijing, China, from KLIA2. Among those who shared the video is Reddit user UsernameGenerik.
The video displays the man recording the on-ground staff while reprimanding them for closing the gate, expressing his intent to make the incident go viral (which he did, albeit not in the way he intended). He also documented the tag numbers of the staff members, openly visible to the camera.
"It's 6:30 something right now, and we were here already. 6:30 something, and they're not letting us go in. So, I'm sorry, this is their tag number, and this is your tag number. I have to make this go viral because this doesn't make sense," the man stated.
Despite successfully making the incident viral, it backfired on him, as many pointed out that he was at fault for arriving at the gate only 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
