Malaysian Student Stuns Netizens by Seeking RM3,000 Compensation for Internship, Inclusive of Food and Transportation
As students approach the culmination of their studies, they typically undergo internship placements to fulfill graduation requirements and apply the knowledge acquired.
Recently, a particular student gained viral attention for less favorable reasons, courtesy of her extravagant requests directed at a company where she sought an internship opportunity.
A graphic design company named KF Design 黑月亮脸设计 shared a photo on Facebook, revealing an email from the aspiring intern. In her message expressing interest in interning at the company, the student outlined a set of demands she hoped the company would meet during her internship.
Her requests included:
- Grab transport incentive
- Accommodation
- Breakfast and lunch incentives
- Performance bonus
- Intern salary of RM3,000 and above
Unsurprisingly, the audacity of the student's demands left the company without words, as indicated in their caption: 'Please don't... but (we) wish you all the best.'
The post has generated over 4,000 reactions at the time of writing, and netizens expressed astonishment at the student's boldness in presenting such demands.
