According to @banubino, her friend's expectations were modest, but the actual gift was surprisingly underwhelming—a towel.

"He wasn't disappointed. He was just a little bit sad because he got a towel."

Determining the cost proved challenging as the towel brand was imprinted. Upon online research, it was revealed that the towel amounted to RM30, falling short of the agreed minimum.

"At least hide it better."

While not confirmed, she speculated that the item may not have been specifically purchased for the event but was rather something the Secret Santa already had.

"I'm sorry, it sounds bad, but that's what it looks like."
