Authorities are frequently portrayed as being harsh and menacing. Naturally, you don't have to constantly project fear since, at our core, we are compassionate beings. Recently, a Malaysian woman chose to share with the world a touching scene that she saw at the immigration office.

Yana attempted to restore confidence in people on her TikTok account, @yanaardh, by posting a video of an immigration officer taking the time to neaten a little girl's hair before taking her picture for the paperwork. The girl's hair is observed to be softly brushed to the back by the officer.

Although the deed might not appear significant to some, Yana was determined to capture the touching moment. The immigration officer took the time to assist the youngster and her family, even though this is clearly outside the scope of his work description.

You don't see that in immigration offices on a daily basis!

"It makes me think of my late father,"

Yana expressed her admiration for the officer's modest yet touching act.

"I was really pleased. He brought to mind my deceased father.

Yana stated, "I'm strong, but when it comes to father figures, I'm weak." in her caption.

Yana complimented the other immigration officials present for their attentive service, so her praise wasn't just directed at the nice officer.

She said the scene was taken at UTC Pasir Gudang, Johor's Immigration Office.

Never evaluate a book by its cover

As of this writing (November 7), Yana's video had received an astounding 1.2 million views, and the sight of the scene had moved many online. Others who knew the cop acknowledged that, despite his imposing appearance, he was actually a nice guy.

Despite his intimidating appearance, this officer is warm and compassionate. This is in Johor's UTC Pasir Gudang.

Another good officer, a Sarawakian, works at UTC Pasir Gudang. He gave my mom some money because she didn't have enough of it! I offered to pay, but he wouldn't take it.

"Government, kindly." Raise his grade and give him a promotion. Every time I see a video like this on my TikTok stream, I start bawling.

He took care of my passport, and this is at UTC Pasir Gudang. He is a decent individual.
