PDRM Verifies Patient in Viral Video Died Instantaneously After Falling from JB Hospital's Sixth Floor
A patient in a medical facility is shown in a viral video that was published by Malaysia Most Viral on X and has since been removed, falling from the sixth level and instantly losing consciousness. The victim had just turned 22. Screams from the onlookers could also be heard.
Assistant Commissioner Raub Selamat, the chief of police for South Johor, stated in a police statement that the event happened in Hospital Sultan Ismail in JB yesterday evening (November 6) at approximately 5:20 p.m. The victim passed away as a result of serious head and body injuries.
A victim is a person who has mental illness and has limitations.
Raub added that preliminary findings indicate the victim is a disabled individual who experienced mental health issues. On November 5, at 12:30 a.m., the patient was brought to the hospital for surgery to repair a multiligament injury to his right knee and a vascular injury (a bypass was performed).
But since the patient had the flu, the surgery was called off, and they were able to release the patient.
According to police, the victim fell from the hospital's sixth story, and as of today, November 7, PDRM is still looking into the incident. The authorities have not yet discovered any evidence of criminal activity in this case.
We are asking members of the public who saw this to come forward so they may help the police by providing pertinent information.
