The Selangor Police recently took to Facebook to announce some exciting news: their highly anticipated discount promotion starts today and ends tomorrow (September 21st).

Malaysians can enjoy up to 50% off on outstanding traffic summonses. The offer is available from 9 AM to 4 PM at Wyndham Hotel in Klang.

Before you get too excited, there are some exceptions to the discount. It does NOT apply to the following traffic offences:

• Road accidents
• Court-related offences
• Non-compoundable offences
• OP Selamat-related offences
• Traffic violations by drivers of commercial vehicles, such as medium-sized trucks (M) and lorries
• Dangerous overtaking
• Using the emergency lane
• Failing to obey red traffic lights
• Overtaking on double lines
• Exhaust modification
