Malaysian Government Introduces Up to 50% Discounts on Selected PDRM Summons Beginning Tomorrow

It's widely recognized that Malaysians often exhibit a disregard for road regulations, whether it's parking haphazardly or executing U-turns in prohibited areas.

Consequently, many of us have likely accumulated a significant number of traffic summonses, leading to substantial fines.

Fortunately, the government is extending a discount of up to 50% on PDRM summonses from February 23 (Friday) to February 25 (Sunday) at the Kuala Selangor Sports Complex, as announced by the Malaysia MADANI Facebook page.

The announcement stated, "Reduced rates of up to 50% for selected summon compound payments in conjunction with the MADANI Rakyat Zon Tengah program. Take advantage of this opportunity from February 23 to February 25, 2023, at the Kuala Selangor Sports Complex."

However, it's important to note that not all summonses are eligible for this discount.

The following 10 offenses are excluded from the discount:

  1. Accidents
  2. Failure to attend court trials
  3. Offenses involving heavy vehicles
  4. Reckless lane-changing
  5. Unauthorized usage of the emergency lane
  6. Non-compoundable offenses (NC)
  7. Disobeying red traffic lights
  8. Illegal lane-changing on double lines
  9. Offenses related to exhaust modifications
  10. Summonses pertaining to OP Selamat status

This discount is only applicable at the specified location and additional terms and conditions may apply.

Looks like queuing up for summon discounts at the Kuala Selangor Sports Complex is on the agenda for this weekend.
