Ipoh Security Guard, Recognized for Acts of Kindness, to Receive Medal from Agong!
The system of orders, decorations, and medals in Malaysia is designed to honor Malaysians and eligible foreigners recognized by the Agong for actions or deeds that contribute to the welfare of the community or the nation.
In this context, a security guard from Perak, previously acknowledged for her affectionate and helpful approach towards patients and visitors at the hospital where she is employed, is set to be one of the recipients of medals bestowed by the Agong later this month!
The mynewshub TikTok page recently shared this heartening news, extending congratulations to the deserving security guard, Puan Yogeswary, for her well-deserved award!
In their announcement, they wrote, "Congratulations, Puan Yogeswary, the guard who gained viral recognition at HRPB (Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun) Ipoh, will be honored with the orders, decorations, and medals of Malaysia by YDPA."
Puan Yogeswary also took the opportunity to express her gratitude, thanking the hospital visitors and the general public for their affection towards her.
“Firstly, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the visitors who have come to HRPB Ipoh. With your support and comments, I will be receiving this medal. This is in regard to my services at the Women’s and Children’s Complex, especially to all the young ladies and gentlemen who come to give birth there and also by assisting fathers in finding parking.”
“Currently, I am on duty at the Daily Treatment Complex for differently-abled patients (the elderly). I am receiving this award from all of you. From all the comments you made when I gained viral recognition before this, I would like to say thank you to everyone, and not forgetting my company, United, whom I work for now, our safety unit, my family, my Facebook friends, and the upper management of HRPB Ipoh. Thank you once again to all of you,” she expressed.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place at Balairung Seri, Istana Negara, on December 18 (Monday) and 19 (Tuesday).
