Cafe in KL: You Don't Have To Order Anything, As Long As You Leave Happy
Just a few days ago, a Kopitiam in Puchong gained widespread attention when the owner reprimanded a customer for bringing in outside drinks without making any purchases from the establishment. The proprietor even went as far as to label the customer as "thoughtless" for their actions.
Since then, the individual in charge has publicly apologized via a press conference. Conversely, a café in KL seized the opportunity to convey to its clientele that they are wholeheartedly encouraged to bring outside food and beverages, provided they leave content.
This announcement was made recently through the café's Facebook page – Lights House Cafe, and the flexibility regarding outside food and beverages isn't the only commendable aspect of the establishment.
"Everyone is invited to utilize this space for work or even conduct classes here. This is intended to be a communal area, and there's no need to fret about not purchasing any food or beverages," remarked Gradient Lok, the founder of Lights House Cafe.
In efforts to "enrich" customers' experiences, the café has implemented soundproofing measures and equipped each seat with power sockets for patrons to unwind comfortably.
"Don't hesitate. You're always welcome to bring your own food and drinks here," emphasized Gradient Lok in a social media post.
